Last Meeting (10/4/14): The College of Saint Rose kept host Merrimack off the board for 63 minutes, but the Warriors broke through in the 64th minute and added another in the 86th to upend the Golden Knights 2-0. Merrimack finished with a 16-1 shot advantage and developed 10 corner kicks, while yielding only three. Senior keeper Colan Balkwell made a pair of saves in each half and Pablo Lajeunesse accounted for the lone Saint Rose shot.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose scored twice throughout the final 30 minutes of the second half to improve to 3-0 on the road with Saturday's 3-1 victory at Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Anselm in Manchester, NH. Sophomore forward Romaine Williamson ran his goal scoring streak to five games with a pair of strikes to pace the Golden Knights offense. Junior midfielder Nick Menozzi provided the game-winner while Balkwell made four of his five saves throughout the second period when Saint Rose manufactured a 12-6 shot advantage.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (4-2/3-1 NE-10): Saint Rose is off to the best start in the program's history that dates back to 1981…Williamson was named the NE-10 Player of the Week yesterday after he finished with three strikes throughout a pair of wins…The Golden Knights have won four of their last five…Williamson is tied for the league lead with six goals this season…Junior forward Joshua Hanif has three goals to his credit while senior midfielder Nick Iuorno paces the squad with three assists…Balkwell is third among NE-10 keepers with a 1.00 goals-against-average and an 0.829 save percentage.
 
Scouting Merrimack (7-1/3-1 NE-10): Merrimack was ranked #8 in the country in last week's NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Poll…The Warriors had their season-long seven game win streak snapped with Saturday's 2-0 setback to visiting league rival Le Moyne…Senior midfielder Augusto Silva is tied with Williamson for the league lead with six strikes, while sophomore forward Juan Meza owns a league-best six assists…Overall, the Warriors are ninth in the country with a league-leading 3.1 goals per-game…Sophomore keeper Lucas Rezende has carried most of the workload between the posts…He owns a 1.25 GAA.
 
Up Next: Both sides return to the pitch this Saturday. Saint Rose will host league rival Bentley at 4:30 pm for Senior Day, while Merrimack will travel to Long Island for a 6:00 pm meeting at Adelphi.
