Last Meeting (10/28/14): Le Moyne converted a pair of penalty kicks and then struck twice within a four minute span to upend The College of Saint Rose 4-0 in Syracuse. Zachary MacNabb converted a PK with 18:32 elapsed that stood up as the game-winner, and then converted another in the opening five minutes of the second half to make it 2-0. Fabian Egger then accounted for the final two Dolphins strikes. Senior keeper Colan Balkwell recorded a pair of saves for the Golden Knights.

Last Time Out: Host Saint Rose gave third-ranked and three-time defending Northeast-10 Conference Champion Southern New Hampshire all it could handle before succumbing 2-1 Saturday night. The Golden Knights jumped out to a 1-0 lead five minutes into the second half, but the Penmen leveled four minutes later and then got the game-winner on an own goal in the 82nd. Sophomore forward Romaine Williamson put Saint Rose ahead when he took the ball off of a Southern New Hampshire defender, dribbled down the middle of the pitch, and lofted a shot from 15-yards out over Penmen senior keeper Nick Zucco and under the crossbar. Senior back Dominic Samuel got Southern New Hampshire on the board with 54:30 elapsed when he headed home a free kick. The Penmen were then able to take home the win on a similar play that was headed in by a Saint Rose defender.

Scouting Saint Rose (2-2/1-1 NE-10): The Golden Knights are aiming for their first home win of year tonight…Williamson has a goal in each of the last three matches…Junior midfielder Joshua Hanif has two strikes to his credit this fall…Balkwell has played all 360 minutes to date…He has recorded a 1.00 goals-against-average and an 0.826 save percentage…The latter places him fourth among the NE-10 leaders.

Scouting Le Moyne (4-0/1-1 NE-10): The Dolphins have won two straight following Saturday's 1-0 double-overtime win against visiting league rival Adelphi…Senior midfielder Cal Fitch scored with just 37 seconds remaining to allow Le Moyne to improve to 3-0 at home…Fitch paces a balanced attack with a pair of strikes, both of which have been game-winners…Five other players have one goal apiece…Sophomore keeper Ben Beaury stands third in the NE-10 with a 0.58 GAA on the strength of three clean sheets…He also owns an 0.885 save percentage, the league's second best mark.

Upstate Challenge: Le Moyne and Saint Rose announced the formation of the Upstate Challenge rivalry series in the fall of 2011. The two schools square off in 16 sports in which they compete head-to-head in the regular season or during the NE-10 Championship. The winner of the series is awarded the 'Upstate Challenge' trophy. The competition originally included 14 sports, but grew to 16 at the outset of the 2014-15 season after the Dolphins added track and field programs. The all-time series stands at 1-1-2 with the two ties occurring in each of the past two years to allow Le Moyne to retain the trophy.

Up Next:
