Last Time Out: Saint Rose dropped both ends of yesterday's doubleheader against one of the country's hottest teams as third-ranked Franklin Pierce ran its win streak to 11 games and improved to 17-1 at home with 9-2 and 7-1 victories in

The Golden Knights jumped out to a 2-1 lead in the first game, but the Ravens scored three times in the sixth to go up 4-2 and then broke it open with five more runs an inning later. In the finale, Franklin Pierce again used a big inning with a four-run sixth that bolstered a 3-1 advantage into a six run cushion. Sophomore third baseman
Mike Flynn went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and a double to go along with a walk, while junior right-hander
Erik Martin tossed 2.0 innings of one hit ball out of the bullpen for Saint Rose in the opener. In the second game, the Golden Knights scored their run in the sixth when freshman shortstop
Bray Curreri belted a leadoff double to the gap in right-center, moved to third on a fly out, and crossed home plate on a groundout.
