Last Meeting (9/20/14): Bentley scored the game's lone goal only 10 minutes in to upend The College of Saint Rose 1-0 in Waltham, MA. The Golden Knights had their best chance to tie it in the final four minutes when they developed a pair of corner kicks. Senior midfielder Marty Ryan tallied the only strike when he volleyed home a cross off the left wing from fellow senior midfielder Nick Hoffman.
 
Last Time Out: Saint Rose left another positive impression on the Northeast-10 Conference by playing to a scoreless draw with visiting eleventh-ranked Merrimack on Tuesday evening. The match was evenly played throughout regulation with Merrimack manufacturing a 13-10 shot advantage and a 6-5 corner kick differential. Junior midfielder Joshua Hanif delivered two shots-on-goal and senior keeper Colan Balkwell recorded five saves for the Golden Knights.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (4-2-1/3-1-1 NE-10): Saint Rose is off to the best start in the program's history that dates back to 1981…Sophomore forward Romaine Williamson was named the NE-10 Player of the Week on Monday after he finished with three strikes throughout a pair of wins…The Golden Knights are unbeaten in five of their last six matches…Williamson is tied for the league lead with six goals…Hanif has three to his credit while senior midfielder Nick Iuorno paces the squad with three assists…Balkwell is third among NE-10 keepers with an 0.83 goals-against-average and stands second behind a 0.850 save percentage.
 
Scouting Bentley (3-5-0/2-3-0 NE-10): Bentley has dropped its last two matches after winning its previous two…The Falcons are still searching for their first road win of the year…Four of their five setbacks have been by one goal…Hoffman is the lone multi-goal scorer with two strikes…Six others have one apiece, including junior midfielder Jose Tirado who has a team-leading three assists.
 
Senior Day: Seven seniors will be honored prior to today's match in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the program. The group includes goalkeeper Christian Esposito, backs Sam Crocker and Tyler Pomakoy, and midfielders Marco Pavlin and Massimo Smiroldo, in addition to Balkwell and Iuorno.
 
Up Next: Saint Rose will head to Rochester Tuesday for a 7:00 pm non-league meeting at Roberts Wesleyan. Meanwhile, the Falcons are off until next Saturday when they will host conference rival Le Moyne at 10:00 am.
