Series: Saint Rose leads 15-8

Last time we met: The Hawks sent Saint Rose home with a 77-61 loss in Manchester, N.H., last season as Tori Lehr '14 knocked down 24 points and nabbed seven rebounds on the night. Briana Jones '14 tallied 18 points from the floor, and swiped a team-high four steals. Saint Anselm held a 43-28 advantage at the half, and collected the win after a 34-33 effort in the second. Despite the loss, the Golden Knights led in the paint with 38 points. Desiree Simmons '14 was among four Golden Knights to post double figures as she led with 14. Jamie Hutcheson and Staci Barrett each added 11, while Jess DeNicola registered 10. Hutcheson and Barrett also led on the boards with seven apiece, while Hutcheson also racked up three steals.

Scouting Saint Rose (8-9, 4-7 NE-10): The Golden Knights have won four of their last five after a 74-56 victory in the battle of the Knights at Saint Michael's Wednesday evening. Hutcheson leads the Golden Knights on both sides of the ball with 11.1 points and 7.8 boards per-game. Hutcheson also leads in steals (26) and assists (56). Senior forward Mariah Lesure sits just behind Hutcheson with 10.9 points per-game, while ranking fourth in the Northeast-10 Conference  in field goal percentage (54.1). Senior guard Gabie Polce dished out a career-high 11 assists in the win over Georgian Court, and ranks 12th in the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.45). The Golden Knights post a .427 field goal percentage while averaging 63.6 points per game, while 14th-year head coach #Karen Haag# is just three wins away from her 300th career victory, making her just one of just 40 Division II head coaches to reach that pinnacle.

Scouting Saint Anselm (5-12, 3-9 NE-10): Currently holding a 1-4 mark through their last five games, the Hawks have dropped seven contests this month. Sophomore guard Caitlyn Abela leads the young squad offensively and ranks 10th in the Northeast-10 with 14.7 points per-game, followed by fellow guard Candace Andrews with 12.6. Sophomore forward Kaila Duarte leads from the glass with 10.4 rebounds per-game, while also chipping in 8.7 points on the average.
