Last meeting: 
Having met just once prior to Saturday, Saint Rose left Lakewood, N.J., with a 63-54 win. The Golden Knights led throughout the entire game, and held their largest lead of 13 with 1:57 remaining in the first half. Saint Rose snagged 22 points in the paint, and 15 second chance points. Desiree Simmons notched 20 points and four steals, followed by senior forward Mariah Lesure with the double-double in 15 points and 12 boards. Senior guard Gabie Polce also registered double figures with 13 points. Ashiri Broadwater led the Lions with 17 points, followed by Jameka Parsons with nine.

Scouting Saint Rose (6-9): Merrimack proved to be too much for the Golden Knights Tuesday evening as the Warriors ended a two-game losing streak with an 81-59 victory. Senior guard Jamie Hutcheson leads the Golden Knights on both sides of the ball with 10.9 points and 8.3 boards per-game. Hutcheson also leads in steals (25) and assists (47). Lesure sits just behind Hutcheson with 10.5 points per-game, while ranking eighth in the Northeast-10 Conference in field goal percentage (51.2). The Golden Knights post a .415 field goal percentage while averaging 62.5 points per-game.

Scouting Georgian Court (1-13): The Lions have collected just one victory this season as they defeated Concordia College 54-52 in the opening game of January. Senior forward Tahira Matthews dishes out 18.5 points and grabs 10.1 rebounds per-game. Freshman guard Kiara Colston registers a 9.8 scoring average, and leads the squad with 51 assists. GCU averages 62.1 points per-game, and shoots .373 from the floor. 

Up next: The Golden Knights return to NE-10 play on Wednesday as they head to Colchester, Vt. to face Saint Michael's, followed by a return to the Capital District to face Saint Anselm on Saturday, January 24 at 1:30 pm. The contest with the Hawks is also Breast Cancer Awareness Day.
