Youth Day: It is Youth Day, so bring a potential Saint Rose student to the game. You will get a free children's ticket for every adult ticket purchased.Last Meeting: Claiming one of their biggest wins in series history over Saint Rose last season, the Ravens kept the Golden Knights at bay in Rindge, N.H., as they sailed to a 78-53 win nearly a year ago. Saint Rose mustered just 18 points in the first half, and put up an impressive 35 in the second, but it wouldn't be enough compared to 30 and 48, respectively, from the Ravens. Junior forward Kara Charette led FPU with 16 points, followed by senior guard Brooke Coderre with 15. Graduate forward Jessica Hurd picked up the lone double-double with 11 points and 11 boards. Jamie Hutcheson secured the double-double for Saint Rose with team-highs of 15 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore forward
Staci Barrett put down 14 points, including a 6-for-10 effort from the line.
Scouting Saint Rose (5-8, 2-6 NE-10): The Golden Knights upset Assumption in Worcester 62-58 Wednesday evening. Barrett leads Saint Rose with 10.8 points per game, while her .737 mark in free throws ranks third. Senior guard Mariah Lesure ranks seventh in the conference in field goal percentage (52.8), as Hutcheson registers team-highs in rebounds (8.5 per game) and assists (3.3 per game). Hutcheson led in points (13), steals (6) and assists (4) en route to the win over the Greyhounds. The Golden Knights post a .416 field goal percentage while averaging 63.2 points per game.
Scouting Franklin Pierce (8-3, 6-2 NE-10): The Ravens sit third in the Northeast Division of the NE-10, having won five of their last six contests, the most recent a 68-61 triumph over American International. FPU's lone loss since November was to Assumption in the opening game of 2015 when the Ravens fell 76-56 on their home floor. Charette ranks second in the NE-10 and first on the team with 18.6 points per game, and 6.4 boards, followed by junior guard Dyamond Gardner with 10.9 points. Charette also sits fourth in the conference with a .824 margin from the line. Hurd holds a double-double average with 10.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. FPU averages 68.4 points per game, and shoots .427 from the floor.
