Last Time Out: Stonehill scored three times within a 10 minute, second period span to upend The College of Saint Rose 3-1 in Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon. The Golden Knights scored on a penalty kick in the final two minutes to spoil the Skyhawks fifth shutout bid of the season. There was no shortage of action as the two sides nearly equaled their production while combining for 33 shots and 15 corner kicks. Junior back Tyler Pomakoy converted the PK to account for the Saint Rose strike. Between the posts, junior Colan Balkwell stopped five shots for his fourth performance with at least five stops this autumn.
 
Last Meeting (10/2/13): Host Adelphi scored three times in the second half to upend Saint Rose 3-0. Senior midfielder Juan Aguiar had a goal and set up the game-winner while sophomore midfielder Caelan Hueber and Alejandro Penzini scored as well to lead the Panthers. Uros Antic manufactured four shots and junior midfielder Nick Iuorno created two for the Golden Knights. Balkwell made a pair of saves in each half.
 
Scouting Saint Rose (1-5-1/1-3-0 NE-10): The Golden Knights are aiming to snap a three-match skid. Iuorno and freshman forward Kledis Capollari have two goals apiece, while sophomore forward Joshua Hanif and junior midfielder Marco Pavlin have one each. Balkwell owns a 1.33 goals-against-average throughout 608 minutes of action covering seven contests. He stands fifth among the league-leaders with 28 saves on the year.
 
Scouting Adelphi (4-3-0/2-2-0 NE-10): The Panthers are coming off of Saturday's 3-1 setback at defending national champion Southern New Hampshire. They have now dropped two straight after winning their previous three. Senior midfielder Diego Zuniga and Aguiar lead the Adelphi scoring parade. The former has 11 points behind five goals and an assist, while Aguiar has seven points with three strikes and a helper. Senior Ahmad Salamah has played 551 of the team's 641 minutes between the posts. The Niskayuna native owns a 1.96 GAA.
 
Up Next: Both sides return to the pitch for conference action this Saturday. The Golden Knights have a 7:00 pm date at Merrimack in North Andover, MA; while the Panthers have a 3:00 pm home date versus Saint Anselm.
