Northeast-10 Conference action this evening. The Dolphins (13-10/10-7 NE-10) shot 48.9 percent (23-for-47) from the floor to snap a two-game skid. In the process, Le Moyne picked up one-half point in the year-long
Upstate Challenge rivalry series that the Golden Knights (12-12/9-9 NE-10) currently lead 6.0 points-4.0 points.
Senior center
Dominykas Milka finished with 11 points and five rebounds, while freshman guard
Mical-Ryan Boyd and senior guard
Eric Sinko jumped off the pine to toss in 10 and nine points respectively. The latter is a career-hgh for Sinko.
As for Le Moyne, senior center Jim Janson went 8-for-9 from the floor to finish with a game-high 20 points. He also had seven boards and three blocks. Meanwhile, sophomore guard Qwadere Lovell and senior guard Nate Champion tossed in 14 and 13 points respectively.
Up next, the Golden Knights are back home Wednesday with a 7:30 pm meeting versus Adelphi. It will be Student-Athlete Athletic Appreciation Night, presented by
Hugh Johnson Advisors, LLC. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are off until next Saturday when they will head to Springfield to take on American International at 3:30 pm.
