The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Southern New Hampshire to Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex for the final Northeast-10 Conference regular-season match of 2013 this evening.

Last Meeting (10/23/12): Southern New Hampshire scored three goals in each half to pick up a home victory against Saint Rose. Junior forward Ercan Kilic tallied the Golden Knights only goal of the contest during the second half. James Taber made nine saves. Southern New Hampshire was led by Andrew Mattarazzo who had a goal and two assists. Chris Tsonis paced all goal scorers behind two strikes while sophomore midfielder Sebastian Stezewski added two assists. Mark Painchurd was forced to make just one save.

Scouting Saint Rose (8-8/5-7 NE-10): Saint Rose had its four-game wi streak snapped Wednesday evening with a 2-1 setback to visiting Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne. Freshman Tyler Casavant scored a goal for the second straight contest to give him three strikes on the season. Senior forward Juan Garzon leads the team with 15 points behind seven goals and one assist while freshman midfielder Uros Antic adds four goals and two assists for 10 points. Sophomore goalkeeper Colan Balkwell is averaging 5.0 saves per-game for a .793 save percentage. The Golden Knights have identical 4-4 records at home and on the road.

Scouting #10 Southern New Hampshire (14-1/12-0 NE-10): The Penmen have won 14 in a row after falling 1-0 to #6 Post University in their season-opener back on Thursday, September 5. Southern New Hampshire, which is ranked #10 in the latest NSCAA National Coaches/Continental Tire poll, has won its last four matches by a total margin of 15 goals after previously winning two 1-0 decisions. Senior forward Pierre Omanga is sixth in the country with a league-leading 14 goals. He also adds three assists for 31 points, tied for 12th most in the nation. Senior goalkeeper Dom DiMaggio owns an .811 save percentage along with a 0.50 goals-against-average.

Up Next: Today marks the regular-season finale for both teams. Southern New Hampshire will host an NE-10 championship quarterfinal match on Tuesday while Saint Rose is still in the hunt for its first ever NE-10 postseason berth.
