The Plot: The College of Saint Rose plays the second of back-to-back home matches versus Northeast-10 Conference foe American International at Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex this evening.

Last Meeting (10/17/12): Host American International scored in the opening two minutes of the second half en route to a 2-0 victory against Saint Rose. Sophomore midfielder Jason Burnusz scored what held up as the game-winner when he struck home a feed from Conor Doyle with 22:50 elapsed. Senior midfielder Miguel Rodriguez-Lapman then added an insurance tally for the Yellow Jackets at the 46:26 mark. James Taber recorded seven saves for Saint Rose.

Scouting Saint Rose (6-7/3-6 NE-10): Saint Rose went 2-0 last week to go to 6-7 on the year. It is the first time since 2005, when the squad wound up 6-11, that it has won that many games in a season. The Golden Knights have scored 16 goals on the year; four in the first half, 11 in the second, and one in overtime. Ironically, their opponents' production mirrors that same sequence. Four of senior forward Juan Garzon's five goals on the year have been game-winners.

Scouting American International (5-6-2/3-5-2 NE-10): The Yellow Jackets are unbeaten in their last two games, both at home, with Saturday's 1-1 tie versus Stonehill and last Wednesday's 3-2 win against Le Moyne. American International is 3-3 in one-goal decisions this season. Sophomore forward Ed Sharman is second in the league with 24 points behind 11 goals and two assists. Additionally, Sharman is responsible for more than half of the team's goals as the Yellow Jackets have scored 19. Five of those strikes are the result of penalty kicks.

Up Next: The Golden Knights travel to Manchester, NH on Saturday for a 2:00 pm meeting at Saint Anselm. Meanwhile, American International is in North Andover, MA Friday for a 7:00 pm contest at Merrimack.
