Southern New Hampshire eventually went into the locker room with a 15 point, 39-24, halftime cushion after leading by as many as 17. Saint Rose whittled its deficit to 11 points on four occasions in the second period and was within 10, 58-48, after Milka finished inside with 5:34 showing on the clock. However, the Penmen responded with a 10-2 run that expanded their lead to 18 points, 68-50, with 3:04 to go.

Looking ahead, both squads have 3:30 pm NE-10 dates set for Saturday. The Golden Knights will host Bentley, while Southern New Hampshire will head to Connecticut to take on New Haven.
