Yesterday: Saint Rose pounded out 17 hits in the finale after dropping the opener when visiting Southern Connecticut State scored four times in the ninth to gain a split with the Owls in yesterday's Northeast-10 Conference twin-bill. Kyle Charron had a double and two base hits. In the opener, the Owls rallied from a 6-5 deficit in the ninth by scoring four runs on three hits with a three-run triple by senior outfielder Peter Testa doing most of the damage.
