Box Score SYRACUSE – Host Le Moyne scored twice within an eight minute span in the first half to upend The College of Saint Rose 2-0 in a
Northeast-10 Conference encounter today at Ted Grant Field. In the process, the Dolphins picked up a point in the year-long
Upstate Challenge rivalry series between the two schools.
The shots stood even at 7-7 throughout the first period although the Dolphins (4-6/3-4 NE-10) wound up with a 12-10 advantage, including a 6-5 edge in shots-on-goal. They furthermore manufactured seven corner kicks as opposed to four for the Golden Knights (0-9/0-6 NE-10).
Junior forward Michael Spadine and junior midfielder Zachary MacNabb accounted for the two Le Moyne strikes.
Spadine got the scoring going when he collected a feed from sophomore midfielder Casey Murphy and slipped it into the lower right corner with 32:50 elapsed. MacNabb then finished a pair of quick feeds from sophomore midfielder Alexander Lautner and senior back Bob Buchanan.

Todd Lawson each played a half between the posts and recorded four saves collectively. Junior keeper Matthew Silva turned aside all four Golden Knights threats to register his second clean sheet this autumn for the Dolphins.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights return home for Saturday's date versus #6 UMass Lowell. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm from
Sullivan Field at the Plumeri Sports Complex. Meanwhile, Le Moyne is also home Saturday with a 1:00 pm NE-10 match versus Bentley.
