Box Score WALTHAM, MA – Host Bentley struck in the opening five minutes for what held up as the game-winner in a 1-0 victory versus The College of Saint Rose in a
Northeast-10 Conference match that was played in the rain this afternoon.
Junior midfielder Cody Osgood delivered a through ball that freshman midfielder Marty Ryan ran onto and drove home into the right corner with a mere 4:46 gone by. That proved to be the lone tally of the afternoon.
The Golden Knights (1-11-0/1-8-0) manufactured a pair of shots in each half, while the Falcons (7-3-2/5-2-2- NE-10) generated nine shots, five in the first period, to run their unbeaten streak to four matches.
Freshman keeper
Todd Lawson recorded a pair of saves in his third consecutive start, while senior Alex Pilitsis turned aside both shots-on-goal by Saint Rose.
Looking ahead, the Golden Knights are back on the road Wednesday with a 7:00 pm league encounter at American International in Springfield. Bentley is on the road that day as well with a 3:30 pm NE-10 date at Saint Anselm in Manchester, NH.
