Box Score WORCESTER, MA – Host Assumption scored twice in the final seven minutes of the first half and again in the opening five minutes of the second stanza to take control and thus hand a 4-0 Northeast-10 Conference loss to The College of Saint Rose this evening. The Greyhounds had four different players come off the bench to register each of their tallies.
Junior forward Dom Mondi had a goal and an assist, and freshman forward Griffin McGrail scored what held up as the game-winner with 38:04 elapsed to lead the Greyhounds (1-1/1-0 NE-10) who outshot the Golden Knights (0-4/0-2 NE-10) by a 19-11 margin.
Freshman midfielder Kieron Hillery made it 2-0 Assumption with 42:53 gone by, before Mondi put the Greyhounds in the driver's seat at the 49:15 mark. Freshman midfielder Troy Lamagna then added the fourth tally with less than 10 minutes remaining.

Patrik Ohlsson recorded three saves in each half for Saint Rose, while sophomore Matt Wrenn turned aside three shots-on-target throughout the game for Assumption.

Looking ahead, the Golden Knights return to the road Thursday for a 3:00 pm non-league match at NYIT on Long Island. The Greyhounds on the other hand get back on the pitch Saturday for a 3:00 pm NE-10 date at UMass Lowell.
