ALBANY - The College of Saint Rose men's soccer team will take on Le Moyne College tonight at 6:30 pm at Sullivan Field. The two schools will meet for the fourth time in the year-long
'Upsate Challenge' in which the schools compete head-to-head in the regular season or during the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. The winner of the series will be awarded the first 'Upstate Challenge' trophy. The contest will be broadcast live via

LAST MEETING (October 26, 2010)
Saint Rose put itself up 1-0 midway through the first half, but host Le Moyne scored three minutes later and four more times throughout the second stanza to hand the Golden Knights a 5-1 Northeast-10 Conference setback last October 26. Each team recorded seven shots during the opening 45 minutes, but the Dolphins generated a 12-7 shot advantage and a 7-2 edge in corner kicks throughout the decisive second half.
Sophomore keeper Matthew Silva recorded four of his six saves in that span to help the Le Moyne cause. Meanwhile, sophomore
Alexander Parent had a pair of saves for Saint Rose. Sophomore forward Michael Spadine and Angelo Reina each scored twice to lead the Dolphins.

SCOUTING SAINT ROSE (1-9-0/0-6-0 NE-10)
The Golden Knights picked up their first win of the 2011 campaign behind a 1-0 triumph versus Concordia on Monday night. Junior forward
Giancarlo Montenegro found the back of the net with 28:09 elapsed to provide the eventual game-winner. It also marked the sixth contest of the year that was decided by one goal.

Alan McGrath have also provided one strike this year for the Golden Knights. Meanwhile, senior keeper
Patrik Ohlsson has collected 44 saves having playing all but 14:16 in goal. Ohlsson ranks fourth in the NE-10 in saves.
SCOUTING LE MOYNE (5-4-1/4-2-0 NE-10)
The Dolphins have dropped two of their last three following a 1-0 setback versus UMass Lowell on Saturday. Spadine represents one of the top goal scorers in the conference. He is tied for third with six strikes so far this year to go along with a pair of assists.
Meanwhile, sophomore midfielder Zachary MacNabb and freshman midfielder Casey Murphy each have a pair of markers. Silva has played all 938 minutes between the posts. He has a 1.06 goals-against-average, is fifth in the league with 41 saves and has chalked up four shutouts.

Saint Rose hits the road Saturday for a league match at UMass Lowell. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm. Le Moyne will make the trek east to Bentley University for an NE-10 contest in Waltham, MA at noon.
