The 2011 senior class takes a moment with the coaching staff prior to today's contest versus Bentley.
Box Score

ALBANY – Bentley scored twice within a 17-minute span in the first half to hand The College of Saint Rose a 2-1 Northeast-10 Conference setback today at Sullivan at the Plumeri Sports Complex. The Golden Knights scored in the final second to spoil the shutout for the Falcons (8-4-1/6-3-0 NE-10) who snapped a two-game skid after winning their previous three.

Sophomore forward Cody Osgood made it a 1-0 affair with 23:18 elapsed when he finished inside the area on a feed that was delivered by junior midfielder Matthew Leibowitz. Junior back Wesley Zeiner then registered what proved to be the game-winner with 40:04 gone by when he whistled home a deflection inside the right post.

In the final second, freshman forward Jeff Kozlowski scored his first collegiate goal by finishing a touch from sophomore midfielder Dylan Klippenstein who was among a group of players near the six-yard box.

Senior keeper Patrik Ohlsson recorded six saves, including four in the first half, for the Golden Knights (1-13-0/0-10-0 NE-10), while fellow senior Matt Reynolds was called upon to make one save for Bentley, who manufactured a 9-2 shot-on-goal advantage throughout the afternoon.

Prior to contest, Ohlsson and five of his classmates were honored in a brief "Senior Day” ceremony. He was recognized along with midfielder Liam Barrett, forwards Mark Quinn and Taras Panchishak, and backs Sean Foley and Garret Keenan.

Looking ahead, both teams have home conference matches on tap for Wednesday. Saint Rose will host American International at 4:00 pm in a contest that is scheduled to be streamed live on www.gogoldenknights.tv. Meanwhile, Bentley welcomes Saint Anselm to Waltham, MA for a 3:30 pm kickoff.
