WALTHAM, MA – The College of Saint Rose women's soccer squad exploded for three goals within a 10 minute span in the early stages of the second half en route to a 6-0 victory at Northeast-10 Conference rival Bentley College this afternoon. The Golden Knights (5-2/3-1 NE-10), ranked #15 in this week's NSCAA/Adidas NCAA Division II poll, have now allowed only two goals throughout their last six matches.

Sophomore forward Jazmine Farrell scored two goals and assisted on another and sophomore midfielder Jordan Bowers tallied what held up as the game-winner in the 16th minute.

Senior forward Kailey Egbert, junior fullback Alex Sobchak and freshman midfielder Kimberly Morton all added markers as well.

Saint Rose outshot Bentley (3-4-1/1-2-1 NE-10) by a 16-6 margin, including 9-1 in the first half. The Golden Knights also generated 10 corners kicks and yielded only a pair to the Falcons.

Sophomore midfielder Amanda Schweers set up Bowers for the game's first tally and Morton put Farrell in position in the 36th minute to make it a 2-0 affair at intermission.

Egbert then headed home a cross from Farrell, sophomore midfielder Amanda Deck assisted on Farrell's second marker, and Sobchak sailed one home from outside the box to make it 5-0 Saint Rose with 31 minutes remaining. Fernandes put the final touches on the victory by one-timing a feed from sophomore midfielder Kristen Bidosky in the 86th minute.

Sophomore keeper Jillian Lyons made three saves during the final 45 minutes of play for the Golden Knights, while sophomores Kara Smith and Amanda Charles came up with six saves collectively for Bentley.
