ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose has announced that Carly Boland has been named assistant coach of the women's basketball program.
"I am excited about adding Carly to our coaching staff," said Saint Rose Head Coach Will Brown. " Carly was a very talented player at Shenendehowa High School and Binghamton University and has strong local ties which will be of great benefit as we make recruiting Section II a priority.  I am confident that our players will enjoy working with Carly and will learn a lot from her experiences as a successful student-athlete. She will be involved in all facets of our program as we begin the process of building something special."
A former player at Binghamton, Boland brings four years of Division I experience to the Golden Knights bench. During her time as a Bobcat, Boland finished her career ranking fifth all-time in school history, respectively, in both in blocks (98) and three-point field goal percentage (.373). She also stands ninth-best with 149 career three-pointers. Boland also helped lead the Plainsmen to a pair of Section II women's basketball championships while at Shen.
After graduating from Binghamton with a bachelor's degree in Human Development, Boland held roles in talent acquisition and executive recruiting while coaching youth and modified girl's basketball in the Clifton Park area.
