MANCHESTER, NH – Southern New Hampshire University registered its third straight shutout by finding the back of the net once in each half to secure a 2-0 victory over The College of Saint Rose in a Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer match at Larkin Field this afternoon.
The Penmen (5-1/2-0 NE-10), who held a 27-3 advantage in shots and an 11-2 edge in corner kicks for the contest, got on the board in the fourth minute when junior forward Adrian Schippers scored his team-leading fifth marker of the season off a feed from graduate midfielder Gabe Mercier.

Patrik Ohlsson kept the Golden Knights (1-4/0-2 NE-10) within reach by turning aside the attempt.
The Penmen gave themselves some breathing room with just over 14 minutes remaining in the game as sophomore midfielder Daniel Hernandez buried his shot in the open net after Ohlsson came off his line to break up the previous play.
