Biography

GENERAL: Part of previous school records in the 200 and 400-yard medley relays…Comes out of the Viking Aquatic Club…Has a sister, Kristin, who played soccer at NE-10 rival Bentley…Enjoys playing tennis…Favorite food is pasta…Would like to teach math in New York City following her undergraduate career at Saint Rose…Said finishing second in the 100 breaststroke as a freshman at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships has been her best sports moment to date…That swim resulted in a school record.

AS A JUNIOR: Swam in six individual events on the season, pulling home 10, top-five finishes…Hit the wall first on three occasions, twice in the 200 breaststroke…Won the 200 breaststroke at Skidmore (11/13/10) with a time of 2:34.59…Repeated the feat against Bentley (1/16/11) with a time of 2:31.77…Also claimed the top spot in the 200 IM at Saint Michael’s (1/21/11) with a time of 2:24.22…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Took to the pool for seven individual events on the season…Pulled home 13, top-five finishes…Won the 100 backstroke at Adelphi (1/23/10) with a time of 1:08.55 in her only competition in that race throughout the season…Finished fourth in the NE-10 Championships (2/7/10) with a season best time of 2:29.80 in the 200 breaststroke.

AS A FRESHMAN: Swam a second place time of 1:09.50 in the 100 breaststroke at the NE-10 Championships (12/5/08), thus establishing a school record…Held down the second position on the 200 medley relay (1:52.05) and 400 medley relay (4:03.44) quartets that put together school record swims at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/21/09)…Was seventh in the 200 breaststroke at Metros behind a 2:31.69 clocking…Registered a season-best time of 2:18.74 in the 200 IM during a preliminary heat at Metros…Contributed three first place performances throughout the year…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: School record holder in the 100 breaststroke…Also owns the distinction of swimming the fastest leg (breaststroke) on the 200 medley relay squad…Team captain.
