GENERAL: Specializes in the backstroke and freestyle events…Has a sister, Sarah, who is a member of the track and field team at Marquette University…Aspires to become a nutritionist…Works as a lifeguard during the summer months…Enjoys singing…Said her parents have had a major influence on her throughout her lifetime…Favorite TV show is Psych.

AS A JUNIOR: Competed in four individual events, primarily in the 100 and 200-yard backstrokes…Had seven, top five finishes out of 11 races…Best finish was second, which she achieved twice…Took home second place in the 100 and 200 back against Adelphi (1/22/11) with respective times of 1:08.40 and 2:29.73…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Swam in six individual events with seven top-five finishes on the season…Best finish on the year was a second place effort in the 100 backstroke against Adelphi (1/23/10) with a time of 1:08.83…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN: Recorded a season-best time of 2:10.38 in the 200 free at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/20/09)…Also swam her fastest time of the year in the 200 backstroke (2:23.52) at Metros…Was third in the 50 free behind a 28.50 clocking versus Utica (11/8/08)…Took 14th overall in the 100 backstroke at Metros after hitting the wall in 1:05.40…Named to NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL: Owns school records in the 100 backstroke along with the 200 and 400 medley relays…Also ran indoor track and played softball at Mexico…Team captain of the swimming and softball teams…Recognized as the school’s Athlete of the Year…Third-team All-Central New York pick in softball…Math, Spanish and National Honor Society member.
