College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Owned one previous individual school records (200-yard free) and is part of four current record setting relay squads (200, 400 and 800 free relay; 400 medley relay)…Owns the current school standard in the 100, 500, 1,000 and 1,650 freestyles…Said her family has had a great deal of influence on her throughout her lifetime…Works as a lifeguard during the summer months…Favorite movie is “Finding Nemo”…Would like to become a first grade teacher following her graduation from Saint Rose.

AS A JUNIOR: Two time first-team Northeast-10 Conference All-League honoree…Swam three NCAA provisional qualifying times throughout the season…Set a Saint Rose record with a winning 1,650 free time of 17:30.99 at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2/4-6/11)…Also won the 200 free at the NE-10 Championships in a time of 1:52.83…Reclaimed her school record in the 1,000 free against Adelphi (1/22/11), clocking in at 10:42.96…Was subsequently named to the NE-10 weekly honor roll (1/25/11)…Won all four times she swam the 1,000 free on the season…Had 25 top-five finishes out of the 27 individual events that she entered…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Swam in seven individual events, specializing in freestyle…Came home with 20 top-five finishes with 12 first place slots…Came in third in the 500 free at the NE-10 Championships (2/7/10) with a school record time of 5:12.08…Finished first three times throughout four starts in the 50 Free…Named to the NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters.

AS A FRESHMAN: Named the NE-10 Freshman of the Week and also to the NE-10 weekly honor roll on three occasions…Was 12th at the Metropolitan Conference Championships (2/20/09) with a season-best time of 55.11 in the 100 free…Swam a school record time of 1:59.10 in a preliminary heat at Metros…Duplicated that effort behind a time of 5:13.39 in the 500 free…Broke the school mark in the 1,000 free in her lone entry in that event…Wound up second in a time of 10:49.82 in a double dual meet at Southern Connecticut State  with Queens (1/30/09)…Swam the lead leg on the 200 and 800 free relay squads that produced school record times of 1:41.00 and 8:07.40…Also part of  the record setting 400 free relay (3:44.67) and 200 medley relay (1:52.05) quartets…All four relay records were recorded at Metros.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran track and field in addition to swimming at V-V-S…Scholar-athlete award winner…High Honor Roll student…Garnered Athlete of the Week honors on one occasion.
