ABOUT WALTON: Team co-captain…Sat out last season due to injury…Transferred from La Salle University two years ago…Played two seasons for the Explorers…Can handle the ball…Comfortable on the block or on the perimeter...Hard worker that can play inside and out…Has shown great maturity after a year on the sideline.
 
AS A SENIOR: Did not dress in 2011-12…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for both the fall and spring semesters in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Played in 28 games and also made two starts…Averaged 9.0 minutes of playing time…Tossed in eight points on 4-of-8 shooting in an 85-48 win over Post (11/12/10) in her Saint Rose debut…Had eight points the next night in a 66-44 victory at Lincoln (11/13/10)…Delivered eight points and two rebounds in 13 minutes of reserve action in a 71-56 triumph at Southern Connecticut State (12/4/10)…Recorded seven points while connecting on 3-of-4 shots from the floor in a 79-66 win against the Owls (2/19/11) in Albany…Threw in eight points off the bench in a 67-60 overtime win against Pace (3/1/11) in the quarterfinals of the NE-10 Tournament.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE AT LA SALLE: Saw action in 15 games…Averaged 1.2 points in 6.7 minutes of playing time…Went 1-for-3 from the floor in seven minutes of reserve action in a 65-51 win versus Holy Cross (12/29/09)…Tossed in a season-high six points to go along with a pair of boards in a 67-51 victory versus Penn (1/2/10)…Wound up with four points in a 55-34 loss versus Temple (2/6/10)…Hit 2-of-3 shots from the field on the way to four points in a 69-40 setback at Duquesne (2/24/10).
 
AS A FRESHMAN AT LA SALLE: Played in 10 games...Saw her first collegiate action versus Long Island (11/16/08)...Logged two minutes against Rider (12/21/08) and registered a steal...Scored her first points with a basket at Saint Joseph's (2/11/09)...Hauled in a rebound and hit a free throw in a season-high four minutes at Dayton (2/21/09)...Tied season-highs with two points and one rebound against Massachusetts (2/28/09).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 16.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 3.0 steals per-game as a senior, which led to a second-team All-State selection...Also an All-State pick as a junior...Named Holy Names' MVP as both a junior and senior and led the team in scoring and rebounding both seasons...Chosen as a News Channel 13 All-Star…Earned a spot on the section II class “A” All-Star Team…Was furthermore selected to the Colonial Council All-Star team and was a Times Union All-Star.
