GENERAL: A co-captain for this year’s cross country squad…Was 37th overall among 125 competitors at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (10/25/08) that were held at Saint Michael’s College…Expected to compete mostly in the mile and 3000 meter runs…May also be part of the distant medley relay team…Listed former NFL safety and U.S. Army Ranger Pat Tillman as the athlete he most admires…Mentioned his grandfather as a person who has had a great influence on him…Said “Forrest Gump” is his favorite movie and that Irish soda bread is his favorite food…Hobbies include lacrosse, reading and basketball…Mentioned his best sports moment was in 2003 when the Syracuse University men’s basketball team captured the national championship.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Crossed the line 11th with a 4:57.49 clocking for the mile at the NE-10 Indoor Championships (2/23/08) at Southern Connecticut State…Finished 14th with a season-best 10:04.39 clocking at 3000 meters indoors at the Wesleyan Invitational (1/26/08)…Outdoors, he ran a 1500 meter time of 4:33.56 to finish 19th at the NE-10 Championships (5/3/08) that were hosted by Bryant.

AS A FRESHMAN: Specialized in the 1,500m during the outdoor campaign…Registered a season-best time of 4:48.53 at the George Davis Invite (4/14/07)…Followed that up with an eighth place performance at the UAlbany Classic (4/21/07) after breaking the tape in 4:49.59.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a second-team All-League performer in the OHSL…Also captain of the basketball squad and member of the lacrosse team.
