Biography

GENERAL: Specializes in the 10,000 meter and mile runs…Co-captain of the cross country squad this past fall…Was the team’s top point producer with a 23rd place finish at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships (10/25/08) that were hosted by Saint Michael’s College…Currently attending graduate school at Saint Rose…Graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s in computer science last May…Listed Brian Sell, the 2006 U.S. National Champion at the U.S. Half Marathon Championships, as the athlete he most admires…Said his best sports moment to date was breaking 4:40 in the 1600 meter run for the first time.

AS A JUNIOR: Part of school record-setting 4x880 relay squad that ran a 9:00.28 indoors at the Williams Invitational (1/9/08)…Also owns two school outdoor standards behind a 33:36.79 performance in the 10,000 meter run at the NE-10 Championships at Bryant (5/3/08) and a 10:03.65 clocking at UMass Lowell’s George Davis Invitational (4/12/08)…Member of 4x800 indoor quartet that went 8:33.56 en route to a third place finish at the Smith Tartan Invitational (2/9/08)…Ran a season-best 9:10.35 at 3,000 meters indoors to place third at the Wesleyan Invitational (1/26/08).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Took eighth in the 5000 meter run at the NE-10 Indoor Championships (2/19/07) with a time of 16:50.36…Was also part of the 4x800 relay squad that crossed the line fourth in a time of 8:20.14…Did not compete at any events during the outdoor season.

AS A FRESHMAN: Specialized in the 5,000 meter run…Finished ninth place or better in all four meets he competed in…Ran a personal best time of 16:13.36 en route to a fifth place finish at the Bryant Invitational (4/8/06)…Recorded his best finish of the season at the UAlbany Spring Classic (4/22/06) after taking third in 16:25.01…Was ninth at the season-ending NE-10 Championships (5/6/06)…Also competed in the 800 and 1,500-meter runs along with the two mile event.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and indoor and outdoor track at FDR…Was a Mid-Hudson Athletic League scholar-athlete.
