College of Saint Rose Athletics

GENERAL: Will look to contribute in the middle distance events…Also competes for the Saint Rose cross country team in the fall…Aspires to become a teacher following her Saint Rose career…Dean’s List student.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Took part in three events during the indoor campaign, mainly focusing on the mile and relays…Ran the second leg for the 4x800 quartet that finished in 10:35.30 at the MIT Invitational (1/29/11)…Also had her best mile time at MIT where she finished fourth with a 5:43.24 clocking…Best showing on the outdoor season was a seventh place finish at the Capital District Classic (4/30/11), hosted by Rensselaer, where she crossed finish line in a time of 2:31.09 in the 800 meters…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll for the fall semester in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A FRESHMAN: Took part in five of the squad’s seven meets during the indoor season…Competed in everything from the mile to the 5,000-meter run…Ran a season-best mile time of 5:27.70 to finish seventh at the Colgate Invitational (1/30/10)…Took second in the 3,000m at the Wesleyan Invitational (1/23/10) behind a 10:52.98 clocking…Was also second in the 5,000m at the Smith Tartan Invitational (2/6/10) after completing the race in 19:25.79…Ran the 1500m on two occasions during the outdoor campaign…Placed 13th at the Rensselaer Early Outdoor Invitational (3/27/10) with a time of 5:13.47…Was also 13th at the Jim Sheehan Memorial (4/3/10) in 5:07.50.
HIGH SCHOOL: Participated in cross country in addition to track and field for Our Lady of Lourdes…Named team captain of both squads…Garnered Athlete of the Year honors…Member of the National Honor Society.
