ALBANY, N.Y.- The College of Saint Rose men's lacrosse team dispatched D'Youville 17-7 in the team's final non-conference game of the season.
Cam Smith scored five times, while
Eddie Baker posted a four-goal effort in the win for Saint Rose.
Noah Gibson added three strikes as well.
Greg Walsh,
Dom West,
Paul Wright, Alex Johansen, and
Mike Mrzyglod also tallied one goal each.
The Golden Knights jumped ahead 4-1 before back-to-back goals from D'Youville cut the margin to 4-3 with 12 minutes left in the second period.Â
Saint Rose would respond however with 10 straight scores, including three coming from Gibson, to take the lead for good.
The Golden Knights are back at Sullivan Field for a 4:00 pm contest with #12 Saint Anselm on Saturday.
