PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y- The College of Saint Rose men's lacrosse team commenced Northeast-10 Conference play this afternoon with a 20-8 loss at #11 nationally-ranked Pace. 

Sophomore attack Noah Gibson scored three times to top Saint Rose offensively.

Graduate attack Cam Smith tallied two goals, while Eddie Baker, Jack Rice, and Greg Walsh logged one strike each. Smith and Rice provided assists as well.

After the two squads played an even first quarter that ended with the Golden Knights leading 4-3, Pace scored 16 of the next 18 goals to claim the victory.

Preston Kral recorded a game-high five goals to help the Setters improve to 5-0.

The Golden Knights are back in action with a Wednesday afternoon non-conference matchup against D'Youville, starting at 4:00 pm at Sullivan Field.
