SAINT ROSE HONORED WITH UNITED SOCCER COACHES TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

KANSAS CITY, MO. - The College of Saint Rose men's and women's soccer programs have again been recognized by the United Soccer Coaches with a Team Academic Award for the 2022-23 academic year.
 
This marks the 23rd consecutive time the Golden Knights women's program has been honored and the seventh time within the past eight years the men have been recognized.
 
Saint Rose is among 189 NCAA institutions from throughout the country to have both of its teams acknowledged. Thus, the Golden Knights fall within a demographic that includes a mere 13.0 percent of schools that sponsor men's and women's soccer according to the most recent NCAA Sports Sponsorship and Participation Rates Report.
 
To qualify for the award, a team must have had a composite grade-point-average of 3.00 or higher for all players on its roster for the 2022-23 academic year.
