ALBANY, N.Y. –
Kevin Warkala has been named the Strength and Conditioning Coach at The College of Saint Rose. He will design strength and conditioning programs for all 19 intercollegiate sports teams, monitor student-athlete performance, and work with head coaches and sports medicine staff in setting performance goals and providing nutritional information.
Â
"Coach Warkala's energy, knowledge, passion, work ethic, experience and overall enthusiasm to be our Strength and Conditioning Coach will provide us with that edge to outwork and overpower our competition," said
Lori Anctil, Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics.
Â
Warkala comes to Saint Rose from Uncle Sam Athletics in Troy, N.Y. and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He spent the past 18 months at the former following a two-year stint at Rensselaer.

He developed and implemented programming for all individual athletes and group sessions, while managing a facility that catered to 80-plus members ranging in ages from 12 to 22-years-old.
Â
At Rensselaer, Warkala handled full strength and conditioning responsibilities for the softball, women's and men's tennis, throwers, and golf programs. He was also engaged with the football, men's and women's ice hockey, women's soccer, and baseball teams.
