NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The College of Saint Rose dropped a 96-72 Northeast-10 Conference contest today at Southern Connecticut State. The host Owls earned the victory by outrebounding Saint Rose 38-20, a margin that included 13 offensive rebounds for the SCSU.
A trio of Golden Knights netted 15 or more points today, with sophomore forward
Shane O'Dell leading Saint Rose with 16. Sophomore guard
Keegan Zoller and freshman guard
Latiek Briscoe also finished with 15 points apiece.
Briscoe shot 7-of-10 from the field and Zoller logged a team-best five rebounds while tallying 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Freshman guard
Max Jusianiec added nine points as well.
Sophomore guard Marty Silvera scored a game-high 20 points for SCSU, topping a group of five Owls that finished in double-figures.
The Golden Knights return to action at Queens College on Friday at 6:00 pm. Southern Connecticut State next faces Holy Family on the road at 3:00 pm on Saturday.
