GENERAL: Played AAU for the Albany City Rocks…Chose The College of Saint Rose because he said it feels like home…Listed his parents as the people that have influenced him the most because of their hard work and the unconditional love they have showed him and his brothers…Favorite television show is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and his favorite movie is The Hangover Part III…Favorite food is chicken…Enjoys the music of Tee Grizzley…Said that winning a section II title has been his best sports moment to date…His mother played basketball at nearby Siena and his father played at Penn State Altoona…In addition, one of his brothers played at Swarthmore and another plays for SUNY Poly…Is the son of Val and Jim O’Dell.
 
AS A FRESHMAN (Spring 2021): Started all of the team’s seven contests…Led the Golden Knights in scoring and was their second leading rebounder throughout an abbreviated campaign…Averaged 16.9 points and 5.7 rebounds per game…Converted 83.3 percent (30-for-36) of his attempts from the free throw line…Was in double-figures scoring on six occasions…Tossed in 23 points and hauled in eight boards in his collegiate debut, a 97-92 setback to Saint Thomas Aquinas (2/12/21)…Followed that up with 23 points and eight boards during a 73-63 victory at Molloy (2/17/21)…Finished with a season-high 24 points in a 79-76 setback at American International (2/26/21)…Named to the Northeast-10 Conference Academic Honor Roll for the fall and spring semesters.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Helped the Sabres win the 2020 section II Class B Championship…Named the 2020 section II Class B Tournament MVP…Two-time Colonial Council MVP…Three-time Daily Gazette first-team All-Area honoree…Tabbed the section II Athlete of the Year as a senior…Three-time News Channel 13 All-Star…Also played football for the Sabres.
