ALBANY, N.Y. – Visiting #13 Pace University outscored The College of Saint Rose 6-0 in the opening quarter on its way to securing a 15-3 Northeast-10 Conference victory this afternoon at the Plumeri Sports Complex.

Jordyn Marchiano tallied the other Saint Rose marker to move alone into fourth place on the program's career goals list.

The Setters (3-5/3-4 NE10), coming in at #13 in this week's Dynamic/USILA Coaches' poll, had four players record at least three points in the road win. Midfielder Blake Balcaen, a graduate student, registered six points on two goals and four assists to lead the way.

Loughlin scored twice in a 3:58 span to trim the Saint Rose deficit to four, 6-2, with 8:22 left in the first half. However, Pace responded with the next three goals to keep control.

Looking ahead, both teams have top-10 opponents up next. Saint Rose is scheduled to play Wednesday, April 21 at top-ranked Le Moyne. The NE10 game is slated for a 3:00 pm start. Meanwhile, Pace is preparing to head to #6 Adelphi on Saturday.
Notes: Marchiano entered the game tied with Brett McAuliffe '14 with 79 career goals…He currently is fifth on the career scoring chart with 105 points…Loughlin has found the back of the net in each of the three games that he's played in this spring, including the last two.
