ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose was the victim of a 12-1 first half run in this afternoon's 17-10 Northeast-10 Conference loss to top-ranked Adelphi.

Saint Rose senior attack
Carter Badour opened the scoring with a goal 1:04 in. Adelphi (12-0/7-0 NE10), in the top spot of the USILA Coaches Poll since March 11th, tallied the next six goals to take control.
Badour finished with five goals to lead the Golden Knights (3-7/2-6 NE10), who trailed 12-2 at intermission. Sophomore attack

Drew Carpino added a goal and an assist apiece.
Senior midfielder
Nicolas Johnson established a pair of program single-game records in the setback. He won 24-of-30 face-offs and gathered 20 groundballs.                Â

Junior attack Nicolas Racabuto and senior attack Ian Kirby tossed in six points apiece to lead the Panthers.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose travels to Sparkill, N.Y. on Wednesday to face Saint Thomas Aquinas at 3:00 pm. Both teams then have NE10 home games on Saturday. Saint Rose hosts its "Senior Day" game vs. #19 Assumption at 6:00 pm. Adelphi welcomes #6 Le Moyne for a 3:00 pm date.
One Love: Today's game was dedicated to the One Love Foundation. One Love was founded in honor of Yeardley Love, a 22-year-old college lacrosse player who was killed by her ex-boyfriend. Notes: Johnson entered the game third nationally with a league-best 11.67 groundballs per game…He had won 67.0 percent of his face-offs, which was good for 12th in the country…Badour, third on the Saint Rose career scoring list with 130 points, is second in program annals with 99 goals.
