ALBANY, N.Y. – The College of Saint Rose was the victim of a 12-1 first half run in this afternoon's 17-10 Northeast-10 Conference loss to top-ranked Adelphi.

Saint Rose senior attack Carter Badour opened the scoring with a goal 1:04 in. Adelphi (12-0/7-0 NE10), in the top spot of the USILA Coaches Poll since March 11th, tallied the next six goals to take control.

Badour finished with five goals to lead the Golden Knights (3-7/2-6 NE10), who trailed 12-2 at intermission. Sophomore attack Jack Pemrick, sophomore midfielder Kyle Meoli and freshman midfielder Drew Carpino added a goal and an assist apiece.

Senior midfielder Nicolas Johnson established a pair of program single-game records in the setback. He won 24-of-30 face-offs and gathered 20 groundballs.

Junior attack Nicolas Racabuto and senior attack Ian Kirby tossed in six points apiece to lead the Panthers.

Looking ahead, Saint Rose travels to Sparkill, N.Y. on Wednesday to face Saint Thomas Aquinas at 3:00 pm. Both teams then have NE10 home games on Saturday. Saint Rose hosts its "Senior Day" game vs. #19 Assumption at 6:00 pm.  Adelphi welcomes #6 Le Moyne for a 3:00 pm date.
