th ranked Adelphi used a pair of big innings to upend The College of Saint Rose 7-4 in today's Northeast-10 Conference Southwest Division series finale. The Panthers (27-5/15-1 NE10) pushed across three runs in the second and four more in the fourth to chalk up their 13
th straight win while remaining unbeaten at home (13-0).

The Golden Knights had their chances, but stranded 12 men on base including a runner at third on three occasions.

Senior first baseman
Nicolas Teitter continued to swing a hot bat. He went 3-for-4 and belted a leadoff home run in the seventh to lead Saint Rose (10-21/5-13 NE10). Also, freshman designated hitter
Jack McDonald went 2-for-5 with an RBI, while sophomore right fielder
Stephan MacMeans finished 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored.

On the mound, junior right-hander
Casey Krebs tossed 3.1 innings of shutout, one-hit ball out of the bullpen.

Senior centerfielder Michael Cattani went 3-for-4 and drove home a pair of runs for Adelphi.

Looking ahead, both squads have 3:30 pm NE10 divisional rain road make-ups Monday. The Golden Knights head to Southern Connecticut State, while the Panthers journey to Springfield to face American International.
