Golden Knights Fall 13-4 to No. 5 Panthers

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – Senior midfielder Matt Graham became the leading goal scorer in The College of Saint Rose men's lacrosse team history during today's 13-4 Northeast-10 Conference loss at #5 Adelphi. The fourth quarter goal was the 86th goal for Graham, moving him past Kevin Fleming '15. The co-captain, now with 120 career points, is 12 away from moving past Fleming for the career point lead.

Sophomore attack Jordyn Marchiano, junior attack Carter Badour and freshman attack Liam Knehr also scored for the Golden Knights (4-6/3-3 NE10), which trailed 6-1 at the break. Freshman midfielder Kyle Meoli assisted on the tallies by Knehr and Badour.

Senior goalie Liam Guiton recorded 17 saves and recorded a 60.7 save percentage for Saint Rose.

The Panthers (8-1/7-0 NE10) received three points from junior attack Dylan Crossan, the third-leading scorer in the NE10. The top offense in the league had four players score a pair of goals in the victory.

Both teams play top-ranked Le Moyne next week. The Golden Knights will host the Upstate Challenge game on Wednesday at 5:00 pm. Adelphi heads to Syracuse on Saturday.
