GOLDEN KNIGHTS FALL TO NO. 16 SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE, 12-8

BADOUR SCORES FOUR GOALS FOR ST. ROSE


ALBANY, N.Y. – Southern New Hampshire, ranked No. 16 in the latest USILA Coaches poll, recorded six-straight goals in an 8:11 span to defeat The College of Saint Rose, 12-8, Sunday afternoon.  The late third and early fourth quarter run by the visitors broke open what was a tied Northeast-10 Conference game.
 
Sophomore attack Carter Badour rocketed in four goals for the Golden Knights (1-7/0-4 NE10).
 
The Penmen (5-2/3-2 NE10) received a combined nine points from senior attackmen Keifer Heckman (three goals and two assists) and Daniel Trainor (two goals and two assists).
 
Sophomore goalie Liam Guiton  grabbed 10 ground balls and set a career-high with 21 saves for Saint Rose. Sophomore midfielder Justin Feldman added a goal and two assists for the home team.
 
NE10 action continues Wednesday afternoon when the Golden Knights host American International and Southern New Hampshire faces visiting Saint Michael's at 4:00pm.
