COLCHESTER, VT-Host Saint Michael's closed out a back and forth affair by scoring 21 of the game's final 28 points to upend The College of Saint Rose 81-68 in
Northeast-10 Conference action tonight. The Purple Knights (11-5/7-4 NE-10) helped their cause by shooting 54.9 percent (28-for-51) from the floor to improve to 4-1 at home this season.

The contest featured 19 lead changes and seven deadlocks, but Saint Michael's took the game's last lead, 62-61, when senior guard Mike Thompson finished inside with 5:58 remaining after junior guard

Jamaal Greenwood knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to afford the Golden Knights (5-13/3-8) their final advantage.

Chris Dorgler filled the box score with 18 points, seven rebounds and five assists to pace Saint Rose. Furthermore, freshman center
Sam Eckstrom finished 8-for-10 from the floor to tie his season high of 16 points in 23 minutes off the bench, while freshman forward
Jack Jones added 14 points. Furthermore, Greenwood handed out a season-best seven assists with only one turnover.

For Saint Michael's, senior forward James Cambronne scored 18 points and senior guard Mike Holton, Jr. added 17, including six free throws in the final 1:51.
