The Plot: The College of Saint Rose celebrates "Senior Day" with a
Northeast-10 Conference game versus Southern Connecticut State.
Senior Day: Prior to the starts of today's game, Saint Rose will recognize senior guards
Desiree Simmons and Brittany O'Shea. Additionally, seniors Briana Ambrose, Joanna Clark, and Stephanie Staudle from the Golden Knights cheerleading squad will be honored.
Last Time Out: Saint Rose rallied from a 43-36 halftime deficit to take a six point lead midway through the second stanza, but visiting Adelphi recovered to upend the Golden Knights 84-75 Wednesday night. Saint Rose buried 49.1 percent (27-for-55) of its chances, while the Panthers converted 50.9 percent (28-for-55) of their opportunities. Junior guard

Staci Barrett scored 16 points apiece, and junior center
Jess DeNicola finished with 12 points and seven rebounds. Barrett's production represents a season-high.
Last Meeting (12/4/13): Four players scored in double-figures as Saint Rose picked up a 77-62 victory at Southern Connecticut. Simmons scored a game-high 19 points and came up with five steals while sophomore guard
Nicole Bini added 13 points. Polce finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals while Barrett contributed 10 points and eight rebounds. The Owls also had four players in double-digits scoring. Senior forward Keshia Primo led the group with 18 points and six rebounds while sophomore forward Jackie Beathea came off the bench to record 13 points and eight rebounds.
Scouting Saint Rose (10-15/5-14 NE-10): The Golden Knights have been in 14 games decided by 10 points or less, going 5-9 in those contests. Saint Rose is attempting a league leading 23.8 free throws per-game. O'Shea is seventh in the conference with a 1.9 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Scouting Southern Connecticut (12-12/8-10 NE-10): Beathea is one of only two players in the NE-10 averaging double-figures in both scoring and rebounding. The Owls are first in the league in both offensive rebounds (16.4) and steals (11.0) per-game. Junior guard Sydni Lester is third in the conference with 2.1 steals per-game.
