The Plot: The College of Saint Rose celebrates "Student-Athlete Athletic Appreciation Night" with a  Northeast-10 Conference game versus Adelphi.

Student-Athlete Athletic Appreciation Night: Thirty-seven Saint Rose student-athletes will be honored at halftime of tonight's men's game in recognition of outstanding athletic achievement at the conference, regional or national level throughout the past year. Hugh Johnson Advisors, LLC is the presenting sponsor.

Last Time Out: Saint Rose shot 50.9 percent (27-for-53) from the floor and manufactured a 47-26 rebounding advantage to upend host rival Le Moyne 71-53 on Saturday. Junior guard Jamie Hutcheson recorded her fifth "double-double" of the year to lead four players in double-figures scoring. Hutcheson wound up with season-highs of 19 points and 14 rebounds thanks to 7-for-12 shooting from the floor, including a 4-for-7 effort from the arc. Also, junior center Jess DeNicola wound up with 13 points and eight boards, while senior guard Desiree Simmons finished with 14 points. Furthermore, sophomore guard Nicole Bini tossed in 10 points and sophomore forward Kelsey Glanzman had 10 rebounds.

Last Meeting (11/26/13): Saint Rose had an early 15-point lead slip away in a 76-68 setback at Adelphi. The host Panthers helped their cause by outrebounding the Golden Knights 24-14 on the offensive glass that led to a 23-13 differential in second chance points. Simmons paced the Golden Knights with 21 points while junior guard Gabie Polce and Bini tossed in 11 apiece. Polce also handed out four assists, with only one turnover, and came up with three steals. Senior forward Jessica Kitrys registered a "double-double" behind 28 points and 14 rebounds, while senior guard Sade Jackson wound up with 11 points and eight assists for the Panthers.

Scouting Saint Rose (10-14/5-13 NE-10): Saturday's victory snapped a five-game skid for the Golden Knights. Hutcheson is averaging 16.0 points and 9.4 boards while shooting 51.8 percent from the floor and 51.6 percent from beyond the arc in her last five games. As a group, Saint Rose is outrebounding opponents by 4.6 boards per-game.

Scouting Adelphi (18-5/12-5 NE-10): The Panthers have won four straight...Kitrys was named NE-10 Player of the Week on Monday. Adelphi was ranked as high as #13 in the WBCA top-25 poll earlier this season...Jackson is second in the nation with a league leading 8.4 assists per-game...The Panthers lead the conference in scoring (82.8), field goal percentage (48.4), and assists (18.8).

Up Next: Both squads have 1:30 pm home dates this Saturday. Saint Rose closes out its regular-season docket with league rival Southern Connecticut State. It will be "Senior Day" at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. Meanwhile, the Panthers are scheduled to host NE-10 rival Pace.
