The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Upstate Challenge rival Le Moyne for a Northeast-10 Conference contest this aftenoon.

Upstate Challenge: Saint Rose holds a 4.0-2.0 advantage in the 2013-14 Upstate Challenge Standings versus Le Moyne. The Golden Knights have scored points in women's soccer, women's volleyball and men's and women's cross country. The Dolphins earned points in men's soccer and men's golf.

Stomp Out Homelessness: This afternoon's game is dedicated to Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless, an organization in downtown Albany providing a series of programs and services to address the needs of the homeless and low-income community.

Last Time Out: Saint Rose won for the third time in the last four games and its second straight behind Wednesday's 58-48 victory against visting Pace. The Golden Knights outrebounded the Setters by a 43-24 margin, including a 14-4 differential on the offensive glass that yielded a 14-6 advantage in second chance points. Senior guard Desiree Simmons scored a game-high 16 points in 27 minutes off the bench thanks to a 5-for-6 shooting effort from the floor. Junior center Mariah Lesure finished with 14 points, nine rebounds and four blocks while junior guard Gabie Polce added 10 points.

Last Meeting | Saint Rose 61-54 | 2/6/13 at Saint Rose: Saint Rose opened the second half with a 14-3 run and shot 68.2 percent (15-for-22) from the floor throughout the final 20 minutes en route to a 61-54 victory against visiting Le Moyne.Polce and sophomore guard Tyler Hansen led a balanced Saint Rose attack with 14 points apiece. Simmons tossed in 11 while Jessica Walton added 10 on 5-for-7 shooting from the floor. Polce also handed out five assists, while Hansen scored 13 of her 14 points in the second stanza.

Scouting Saint Rose | 3-2/1-1 NE-10: Saint Rose has had three different top scorers in five games thus far. Lesure is averaging a conference best 5.0 blocks per-game. The Golden Knights are shooting 42.3 percent from the field while holding opponents to 34.9 percent.

Scouting Le Moyne | 3-1/0-1 NE-10: The Dolphins started the season with three straight wins by an average 17.7 point margin. Le Moyne is averaging 10.2 steals per-game. Former Siena head coach Gina Castelli is in her first season at the helm. Nine of the 15 players on roster are either juniors or seniors.

Up Next: Saint Rose plays at Adelphi Tuesday evening for a 5:30 pm league game in Garden City, NY. Meanwhile, Le Moyne returns to the court next Sunday when the Dolphins travel to Lincoln to face the Lions at 4:00 pm.
