The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Saint Anselm for a Northeast-10 Conference contest this evening. The game will be streamed live on www.gogoldenknights.tv.

Last Time Out: Saint Rose outscored visiting Southern Connecticut State 73-42 throughout the final 29 minutes en route to an 81-62 NE-10 victory on Saturday. The Golden Knights shot 55.6 percent (15-for-27) from the floor in the second half and held the Owls to a mere 25.0 percent (8-for-32) shooting during that span. The 81 points scored by Saint Rose was a season-high as five players registered double-figures. Senior forward Jessica Walton led that group behind 18 points and eight rebounds.

Last Meeting | Saint Anselm 45-39 (1/3/12 at Saint Anselm): Saint Anselm scored 14 unanswered points to erase a nine point deficit midway through the second half en route to a 45-39 victory versus Saint Rose in Manchester, NH. The Golden Knights were outscored 22-6 in the paint and shot a season-low 31.8 percent from the floor. The Hawks actually had a worse shooting night as they buried a mere 30.8 percent (16-for-52) of their opportunities. However, they generated a 43-27 rebounding advantage and held Saint Rose to three field goals throughout the final 9:30.

Scouting Saint Rose | 3-8/1-6 NE-10: The Golden Knights have won two of their last three games. Saint Rose has played tough on the interior, blocking 3.2 shots per game and generating a +3.8 rebounding margin against its opponents. The frontcourt of Walton and senior forward Maria Sanchez Gonzalez combine for 17.2 rebounds per-outing.

Scouting Saint Anselm | 4-7/1-6 NE-10: The Hawks average 11.0 steals per-game, third most in the NE-10. Accounting for those thefts are seven individuals averaging at least 1.0 steal. Junior forward Briana Jones is the lone Hawk averaging double-digits with 10.5 points per-game. Saint Anselm has also turned away 3.8 shots on a regular basis as senior forward Curran Leighton and sophomore forward Allie Jones are each averaging 1.5 blocks.

Up Next: After enjoying three straight home games, the Golden Knights will be on the road this Saturday with a 1:30 pm game at conference rival Stonehill in Easton, MA.  Meanwhile, the Hawks return home to face American International on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
