The Plot: The College of Saint Rose welcomes Merrimack for a Northeast-10 Conference contest this evening. The game will be streamed live on www.gogoldenknights.tv.

Last Time Out: Saint Rose threw a scare into second-ranked Bentley, but the Falcons scored 51 second half points to keep their unblemished record intact with a 79-74 Northeast-10 Conference victory against the Golden Knights on Saturday.  Bentley outscored Saint Rose 33-12 from the foul line and turned 22 Saint Rose turnovers into 25 points.  Sophomore foward Mariah Lesure tossed in a career-high 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench.

Last Meeting | Saint Rose 68-62 (1/17/12 at Merrimack): Saint Rose held off a late Merrimack charge and had four players in double-figures en route to a 68-62 victory at Merrimack. The Golden Knights generated 18 points off of 21 turnovers by the Warriors and led throughout the final 38 minutes.  Sophomore guard Gabie Polce wound up with 17 points and a career-high nine assists, with only one turnover, to pace the Golden Knights.

Scouting Saint Rose | 5-10/2-9 NE-10: The Golden Knights are 4-0 when holding opponents below 60 points.  Lesure is tied for first in the NE-10 with 2.1 blocks per-game.  Meanwhile, Polce is averaging a league leading 36.5 minutes per-game.

Scouting Merrimack | 11-4/7-4 NE-10: Senior forward Kelly Schatzein is one of two players in the NE-10 averaging a 'double-double'.  Schatzein leads the conference in rebounding at 10.9 boards per-game.  Merrimack is attempting 21.1 free throws per-game.  Sophomore guard Chloe Rothman's 5.0 assists a game is fifth among the league's assist leaders.

Student-Athlete Academic Recognition Night: At halftime of the men's game there will be a brief ceremony honoring those student-athletes that have achieved a 3.3 GPA as well as those individuals and teams that have been recognized at the conference, regional, and/or national levels for academic excellence.

Up Next: Both teams return to action at 1:30 pm on Saturday for a pair of NE-10 meetings.  The Golden Knights are slated to travel to Saint Michael's in Colchester, VT while the Warriors host American Intertional in North Andover, MA.
