Box Score

WALTHAM, MA – The College of Saint Rose concluded their swing into eastern Massachusetts on a frustrating note as the Golden Knights fell to Northeast-10 Conference foe Bentley 8-1.

Saint Rose got their only point of the day in first flight singles as junior Jennifer Crego upended junior Paulina Sotomayor 6-0, 7-5. The win snapped a short, three-match skid for Crego.

The Golden Knights were competitive on doubles during the match, particularly in the first and second flights. In the first flight, Crego and senior Erin Reeg came up just short of Sotomayor and junior Rachel Litton 8-6. Freshman Lauren Romine and junior Nicole Terribile fell in second flight doubles to senior Kara Murphy and freshman Melanie Scott 8-4.

Saint Rose next takes to the court on Saturday, April 14 as they will wrap up their regular season slate with a match against Le Moyne in the latest installment of the Upstate Challenge. Bentley next plays on Tuesday when they host Merrimack at 3:00 pm.
