Biography

GENERAL: Team’s top returnee…Serves as a team captain…One of two seniors on the squad…Enters the year with an impressive 25-15 singles record…Would like to obtain her master’s degree and become a physical therapist following her Saint Rose career…Dean’s List student.
 
AS A JUNIOR: Strung together an 8-5 overall mark at #1 singles…Opened up the year by winning five consecutive matches…Had a 6-4, 6-2 triumph in the season-opener versus Franklin Pierce (9/17/11)…Went 4-0 throughout a pair of league matches versus Saint Michael’s and New Haven  to close out the fall portion of the schedule…Was subsequently named the NE-10 Player of the Week (10/4/11)…Closed out the year by winning three of her final four matches…Grabbed a 6-0, 7-5 triumph at Bentley (4/7/12) and a 6-3, 6-4 decision at Le Moyne (4/14/12)…Finished with a 5-8 mark in doubles play…Named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll (4/16/12)…Also earned a spot on the fall NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE: Was a third-team All-Conference pick at #1 singles…Won her first eight singles matches to start the season…Ended up with a 10-3 overall record…Registered a pair of come-from-behind victories…Rallied for a 1-6, 6-2, 10-3 triumph versus Stonehill (10/2/10)…Also came all the way back to defeat Saint Michael’s (10/8/10) 2-6, 6-2, 10-5…Capped off a stellar regular season with a 7-5, 6-2 win at Saint Anselm (4/10/11)…Recorded a 6-9 overall mark in doubles play…Began the spring slate with identical 8-0 wins at American International (3/19/11) and versus Le Moyne (3/20/11)...Was subsequently tabbed the NE-10 Player of the Week (3/22/11)…Also named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll on two occasions (9/22/10 & 9/28/10)…Named to both the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls in recognition of academic excellence.
 
AS A FRESHMAN: Named to both the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls…Garnered NE-10 Co-Freshman of the Week honors on one occasion (10/6/09)…Won four of her last six singles matches to close out the year…Also had a season-high four-match win streak in doubles action…Finished with an even 7-7 overall mark that included a 7-6 league record at #1 singles…Recorded back-to-back victories at Bentley (9/23/09) and Stonehill (9/25/09)…Accomplished the same feat with triumphs versus American International (4/7/10) and Saint Anselm (4/11/10)…Finished 7-6 in doubles play…Wound up completing the league slate with a 7-5 mark…Capped off the year behind an 8-4 win versus New Haven (4/17/10).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport athlete at Onteora…Three-time team captain of the Indians tennis team, who won the Mid-Hudson Athletic League (MHAL) Championship…Also garnered MVP honors on four occasions…Played basketball and softball as well…Captain of the basketball squad that won the MHAL Division Championship…MHAL scholar-athlete…National Honor Society member.
