NORTH ANDOVER, MA – The College of Saint Rose was unable to get untracked as the Golden Knights fell 9-0 at
Northeast-10 Conference foe Merrimack on Friday.
The two most competitive matches of the day came of the opposite end of the singles side. In first flight singles, junior
Jennifer Crego took freshman Shakee Messina to a third set before falling 6-3, 1-6, 10-2.
In sixth flight singles, freshman
Maggie Moran put up a strong battle before dropping her match to junior Erin McMahon 8-5.
Neither team wastes any time getting back in action as the Golden Knights and Warriors both play tomorrow afternoon. Saint Rose will take on Bentley in Waltham, MA at noon while Merrimack will host Southern New Hampshire at 3:00 pm.
