PLEASANTVILLE, NY – The College of Saint Rose women's volleyball team hit a blistering .298 with only eight errors en route to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-20) triumph at Northeast-10 Conference rival Pace University this afternoon. The Golden Knights thus remained unbeaten in conference play heading into their showdown against defending league champion University of New Haven this coming Tuesday.

Aubrey Bobo, senior middle hitter
Chelsea Tyler and senior outside hitter
Sarah Kahrs put together an efficient outing for Saint Rose (10-4/5-0 NE-10). Bobo paved the way with 17 kills after hitting .552 with a mere one error in 29 swings. Tyler was just as effective with nine kills in 18 attempts and Kahrs recorded seven kills without a miscue. Kahrs added 13 digs as well.

Katy Daniels and freshman setter
Ariana Wilson sparked the defensive unit. Daniels led the Golden Knights with 17 digs, while Wilson had 13 assists and 12 digs.
Junior outside hitter Nora Rugova and senior setter Shea Hansen each had solid outings for the Setters (11-6/1-2 NE-10), who dropped their first home match of the 2011 campaign today. Rugova had 14 kills, while Hansen chalked up 26 assists and 11 digs.
Looking ahead, Saint Rose has arguably its toughest test of the year thus far Tuesday night when the aforementioned Chargers come to Albany for a 7:00 pm league affair. Meanwhile, Pace gets back to action tomorrow when the Setters host Le Moyne College at noon.
