Biography

GENERAL: Team co-captain…Transferred from the University of Delaware prior to the 2009 campaign…Sees the court well and is a powerful hitter…Played club volleyball for Long Island United…Has a sister, Alice, who played volleyball at SUNY Cortland…Her mother, Mary, played basketball at Springfield College…Enjoys reading in her spare time…Favorite movie is “Carpool”…Has worked volleyball camps at Cortland and in her hometown of Kings Park during the summer months…Would like to become a math teacher on Long Island following her Saint Rose career…Dean’s List student.

AS A JUNIOR: Named to the prestigious NE-10 All-Academic Team for the fall sports season…Led Saint Rose for the second year in a row in kills (264)…Was also second in digs (333) and aces (40)…Recorded double-figures in kills on 13 occasions…Finished with a career-high 22 kills to go along with 13 digs in a 3-2 loss at Saint Anselm (10/15/10)…Had 19 kills and 18 digs in a 3-2 triumph at Saint Michael’s (10/16/10)…Picked up a career-best 24 digs in a 3-2 setback versus Caldwell (9/18/10)…Also produced 18 kills on the strength of a .317 hitting percentage…Served up a season-high five aces in a 3-1 loss versus Southern New Hampshire (10/29/10)…Named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll three times (9/7/10; 9/20/10; 10/18/10)…One of five players to see action in all 27 matches…Named to both the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls in recognition of academic excellence.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Named to the fall and spring NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Rolls…Led the Golden Knights with 274 kills…Was also second on the squad in aces (49) and third in digs (173)…Finished the year ranked seventh in the league with a 0.48 ace-average…Reached double-digits in kills on 12 occasions throughout the year…Registered a season-high 18 kills in a 3-2 victory at Southern New Hampshire (10/30/09)…Contributed 14 kills, six digs and three aces the very next afternoon in a 3-2 triumph at Franklin Pierce (10/31/09)…Came up with a season-high 18 digs to go along with 11 kills in a 3-2 win versus Caldwell (9/11/09)…Put together a solid all-around performance behind 13 kills, a career-high seven aces and six digs in a 3-1 victory over Mercy (9/29/09)…Hit double-figures with 15 digs and 10 kills in a 3-2 loss at Merrimack (10/2/09)…Named to the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll on three occasions throughout the year (9/8/09; 9/14/09; 10/19/09).

AT DELAWARE: Saw action in four matches for the Blue Hens (19-16), who won their second straight Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title and garnered their second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth …Named to the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll…Dean’s List student.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-time MVP at Kings Park…Also earned All-League plaudits on two occasions…Was an Academic All-County performer…Named the school’s English Student of the Year…Member of the Art, Spanish and National Honor Societies.
